Cybertrons, Insectron |
Function: Ninja |
Even among the individualistic Insectrons, Mantis stands out as a cool Samurai. He is very territorial and never puts up with the ones who disturb his sleep. His scythe arms are called Zantetsuken (Steel Slicer) and his Engetsu Sappo (The Full Moon Cut) disturbs the enemy's vision then delivers the finishing blow. He can control his Disk Shuriken freely with telepathy and they are good match to Autolauncher's shooting Disks. |

Mantis Additional Info
Trivia; Mantis' special attack, Engetsu Sappo is a sword style used by Nemuri Kyoshiro, a fictional Samurai made popular in the 1960s. The sword is moved as if drawing a full moon (engetsu), and the light reflected on the blade momentarily blinds and confuses the enemy.
