While both the rocket pack and Convoy holding Megatron in gun mode are references to actual scenes from the Generation 1 cartoon (More than Meets the Eye Part 3 and Countdown to Extinction, respectively), Convoy never actually used the Megatron gun at the same time as Lambor's (Sideswipe's) rocket pack!
