Galvatron II

Generation 1 Galvatron, Reissue Galvatron

"Galvatron II" is the Galvatron character show-cased in Marvels G1 run in issue 67 through 79. A brief back story of this Galvatron is that he is the Galvatron of a future where Unicron was not defeated and the Decepticons, under Unicrons allegiance, took over the Earth, destroying all the Autobots and lots of humans. He was taken out of his time by "present" Unicron, and sent to Cybertron to be his Herald, where, of course, Galvatron did anything but that.
Galvatron II comes with a green version of the Creation Matrix, to represent the Matrix's depiction in the 1986 Marvel Comics Animated Movie adaptation. He also features the upgraded sound chip from the animation accurate reissue, and gold leaf decals which represent details on Galvatron in some of the early artwork from the Japanese magazine story pages.
