Megatron (Marauder)

In season 4 of Transformers Animated, it was planned for Megatron to acquire a new, triple changing body capable of assuming tank and jet modes. The design has several call backs to other Megatron designs, including a face plate inspired by Beast Machines Megatron. According to the Allspark Almanac Volume 2, Megatron would have acquired this body in a story that would also have delved into the origins of Blitzwing and the reasons why Blackarachnia joined the Decepticons. All details on this toy were revealed through the Animated Allspark Almanac Volume 2. The images were posted online at author Jim Sorenson's site to promote the launch of the book. As seen, the toy never made it past the initial resin prototyping stage so a release will not occur.
