The leader of the new world order on Cybertron. Megatron Megabolt is the supreme tyrant, evil genius, and commander of the Vehicons. Combines brute strength, military cunning, ruthlessness and terror to achieve cruel methods of oppression. Focuses energies on his mission to restore the machine-like purity of the Transformers. Creating a devastating virus that wiped out the inhabitants of Cybertron, Megatron Megabolt populated the planet with Vehicons. Now Megatron Megabolt has taken the form of a gigantic cybernetic head that hovers over Cybertron, deploying an array of Vehicons in an unending effort to wipe out the Maximals. Will stop at nothing to fulfill his twisted vision of a new order. |

| Additional Toy Info Megatron Megabolt was originally intended for a release in the Beast Machines Battle for the Spark line. Along with some other toys from that line including Supreme Air Attack Optimus Primal he was cancelled when the line was terminated early due to low sales. He would eventually be released as a part of the Robots in Disguise line as a KB Toys exclusive. The toy transforms into a head, to represent the "Grand Mal". The Grand Mal was not an actual character - rather, it was a gigantic battle base, with all its functions controlled directly by Megatron's disembodied Spark during season 2 of Beast Machines. It is capable of transforming into a space battleship, and an early cameo of the blueprints also indicated a robot mode, although it was never seen on screen. | |
