Although his name is Menasor, his colour scheme and alternate mode more closely resemble the Generation 1 Decepticon Motormaster, who formed the main body of the original Menasor.
Additionally, the original Motormaster was known as Menasor in Japan, so the name switch is not entirely unprecedented.
