Initial release Optimus Primes had a red insignia on the forearm, which was later changed to a black one - the black Autobot symbol version is more common, and was released more widely, having been found in international markets including Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.

There are two different packaging versions. The initial release features an Age of Extinction style packaging with red Transformers logo text on a white backdrop. This was replaced on 2015 release Bumblebees with Combiner Wars styled red logo text on a black backdrop.

Released through Dollar General and Family Dollar stores in the US. The "black insignias" version was also released in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, as well as Singapore. Packaging uses the Generations Thrilling 30 version of Optimus Prime, while the promotional images on the package show the Reveal the Shield version. Just to add complication, the official images (attached to this post) depict the 2012 release version, which included a red sword that this version does not come with.
