This clear blue version of Optimus Prime was available as a pack-in freebie with TV Boy magazine August edition in Japan. A metal pin is inserted in the right foot so that the figure can activate LA-01 Battle Command Optimus Prime's sound gimmick. It also came with a sticker sheet.
