| Additional Toy Info Takara-Tomy's release of Wingblade Optimus Prime is a truly unique piece, as it is NOT a release of the planned US Transformers Animated Wingblade Optimus Prime, but the Voyager Class toy with the additional Wingblade attachments. This is possible because the Hasbro design team specifically designed the Wingblade parts to be compatible with both the Deluxe and the Voyager Class versions of Optimus Prime. The Optimus Prime toy is more or less the same as the previously released Voyager Class Optimus Prime in the Takara-Tomy Transformers Animated line, right down to the metallic finish on the red plastic. | |
