Additional Toy Info Released as a part of the 1985 Transformers mail away campaign in the US, along with the Omnibots and the Time Warrior watch. The mail away leaflet only depicted the jet Powerdasher, but mentioned that Powerdasher is in a state of evolution (i.e. product may vary from what was pictured). The original Diaclone name for the toy was "Jet Dasher", while the Diakron line by GiG called the toy "Cromar". These are sometimes used by fans to refer to this toy. Jet Dasher has never been acknowledged in canon, but in IDW's Transformers comics (some 29 years after this toy was released) the name Cromar was given for this character, establishing it in canon, at least as far as IDW is concerned, anyway. |
