Combiner Wars Ratchet was available as the Botcon 2016 customizing class figure. For the final Botcon customizing class, they went out with a bang offering five different potential figures - Combiner Wars versions of Generation 1 comic and cartoon Ratchet, Generation 2 Ratchet, Shattered Glass Ratchet, and Medix from Rescue Bots. The booklet included five paint guides, and four bios (for both Generation 1 versions, G2, Shattered Glass, and Medix).
Class attendees also got a bonus Enigma of Combination accessory which was not officially produced by Hasbro.
A limited number of assembled and unpainted Ratchets were available for purchase at the TCC store at Botcon 2016. These did not include the stickers, paint guides, Medix head, or Enigma of Combination.

Ratchet / Medix came with a total of four distinct bios, which we have reproduced here:
Generation 1 Ratchet
“You break it, I'll remake it."
BIO: AUTOBOT RATCHET was the best tool-and-die man on CYBERTRON. His primary function is to repair injured AUTOBOTS. Given the right parts and time, he can cure almost any injury or infection. He often finds himself taking on challenges far exceeding his programming, but has proven time and again that there are few among the AUTOBOT army with more bravery and cunning.
ABILITIES: AUTOBOT RATCHET has at his disposal a vast array of diagnostic and repair equipment, including but not limited to laser scalpels, arc-welders, electron microscopes, circuit sensors, and fluid dispensers. His deep need to tend to his patients is his greatest asset. He will work for years to repair patients if need be. He was recently exposed to an arcane AUTOBOT artifact, and can now not only combine with other similarly modified AUTOBOTS into a "Combiner," he can serve as a "universal donor to any Combiner as a replacement limb. As such, his Combiner hand has a "healing touch", able to quickly reenergize and rejuvenate damaged comrades.
WEAKNESSES: When faced with more patients than he can repair, he can fall into a deep melancholy. Sometimes, he has to be encouraged to put his duties aside for a few hours for some needed R&R. Use of the "healing touch" can be extremely draining to the Combiner who utilizes it. Attempting to heal a severe enough injury can cause the Combiner to disengage and literally fall apart.
Generation 2 Ratchet
"You break me, they'll remake me."
BIO: While the armies of the Second-Generation Cybertronians attacked the combined forces of the AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS, AUTOBOT RATCHET sat in stasis lock, his brain slowly attempting to rewire and realign itself while his body slowly rotting and degrading after his physical separation from MEGATRON and near destruction. In the lull before the assault on the LIEGE MAXIMO, OPTIMUS PRIME finally found and retrieved his friend’s broken body, and ordered FIRST AID and FIXIT to attempt a full-body spark transplant. Now returned to duty, Ratchet is once again not only a top-notch medic, but also taking a more aggressive stand on the battlefield.
ABILITIES: Ratchet has at his disposal a vast array of diagnostic and repair equipment, including but not limited to laser scalpels, arc-welders, electron microscopes, circuit sensors, and fluid dispensers. He was recently rebuilt and revived using Combiner technology, and can now combine with other similarly modified AUTOBOTS into a "Combiner." He is able to assume FIRST AID's place in the formation of DEFENSOR, due to FIRST AID's unfortunate bouts with GPS. His new form was also further enhanced with Rheanimum, making him extremely durable and resistant to damage on the molecular level.
WEAKNESSES: When faced with more patients than he can repair, he can fall into a deep melancholy. Sometimes, he has to be encouraged to put his duties aside for a few hours for some needed R&R. The monstrous merging of his body and mind with MEGATRON has made him extremely leery of using his new Combiner ability. The situation has to be dire, and then the request usually has to come from OPTIMUS PRIME himself. His new lease on life, plus his newly enhanced form, has led him to take more risks on the battlefield than are probably warranted.
Shattered Glass Ratchet
"First I’II break you, and then I'll remake you."
BIO: AUTOBOT RATCHET was the chief medical officer of the AUTOBOT army. He took great pleasure in upgrading his patients with a variety of viscous weapons, extra limbs, and all manner of obscene mutilations. His patients believe that he did this because it was FUN (and it was), but he had a more sinister reason for his experimentation. He knew that sooner or later that his ember would be snuffed out, and he was desperately seeking a way to cheat his own mortality. Now, although Ratchet has been reformatted by UNICRON into a heroic AUTOTROOPER, the evil AUTOBOT RATCHET lives on. Utilizing rarely-used Crystalline Containment technology stolen from the positive-universe AUTOBOTS, he simply copied his brain into one. On the occasion of his deactivation a secret protocol was activated, and the mad doctor lived again.
ABILITIES: AUTOBOT RATCHET has extensive knowledge of the anatomy of almost any type of Transformer, and the ability to repair or disfigure nearly all of them. He can mesh almost any CYBERTRONIAN or alien technology with that of a CYBERTRONIAN to create horribly mutilated patients. With his recent rebirth into a new body he has enhanced himself with "Combiner" tech, and can merge with any compatible Combiner robot. While combined, he can also plant viruses into their mainframes, and take over control of the robot's higher brain functions.
WEAKNESSES: Because of his sadistic nature, most patients will suffer with their injuries far longer than necessary. The technology responsible for his recent rebirth isn't perfectly compatible with negative-polarity embers. As such, he occasionally finds his primary functions freezing and rebooting spontaneously. This can have unfortunate side-effects if he is merged with a combiner at the time.
FUNCTION: Battlefield Medic
"Being the worst makes you first."
BIO: As the prevalence of Combiners increases in the AUTOBOT military, so do their apparent weaknesses. Chief among them is the fact that if a member is incapacitated, the Combiner cannot be formed while retaining its full strength. With protection of humans their top priority, the PROTECTOBOTS have brought new members into their ranks to avoid this. MEDIX is the ninth member of the team, following ROOK, HEATROCK, and SKYFEATHER. His specialty is stabilizing the wounded and otherwise simply keeping them functioning until they can get to the advanced care of AUTOBOT RATCHET or FIRST AID. He has an extremely dry sense of humor and can seem distant at times, but his job usually doesn't allow him the comradery that his teammates share on the battlefield.
ABILITIES: MEDIX's primary job as a medic doesn't allow him the finesse of his medical colleagues, and his skills demonstrate this. He can work quickly and concisely to tie off bleeding energon lines or jumpstart a fading spark, but the results are usually not pretty to look at. Anyone in dire enough straits to need MEDIX's help on the battlefield is probably not in a position to argue. As a member of the PROTECTOBOT team, he can form either an arm or leg of the super robot DEFENSORTM. In his spare time, he is also attempting to learn about human medicine so that he can function as an Emergency Medical Technician if needed.
WEAKNESSES: As he seldom is called upon to help form DEFENSOR, his integration into the Combiner mind is sometimes glitchy. Since his job often has him jump from patient to patient quickly to perform triage and treat dire injury, he sometimes ignores the situation around him, which can lead to his own injuries
