""Decepticons Forever!"" |
As the US version of Alternators lacked specific fiction or character bios, we can only look to Japan's version of Alternators, Binaltech, which came with character cards and bio information by Hirofumi Ichikawa, the information presented here is from the English translation by Doug Dlin. As there was no Japanese version of "Jaguar" Ravage, and Hasbro released no specific fiction or bios for Alternators, Ravage has no official bio. Ravage, while being one of the last Alternators was also a lot of firsts for the line. He was the first to have no humanoid robot mode, instead turning into a robotic Jaguar, no opening hood and unlike the other Alternators. His weapons remain attached to him in both modes instead of turning into an engine or folding up for storage somewhere in his vehicle mode. He and his fellow Walmart exclusive (in the US anyway) Rumble were also the first Alternator Decepticons to have their own molds as opposed to being remolds or repaints of Autobots. Most significantly Ravage is the only Alternator to have been re-imaged a second time. |
