Scorponok (2017)

Scorponok spent stellar cycles toiling away in obscurity, a mow Predacon cog in the great Builder society. His diminutive stature, combined with an intellect larger than needed for the profession he was assigned, made him an outcast. That all changed when he fell under the sway of the visionary bot who would one day appropriate the name Megatron. Under his tutelage, Scorponok would grow to despise his place on Cybertron and seek redress through the founding of the Darksyder criminal enterprise. Now Scorponok vies with Terrorsaur to be Megatron's strong right hand. His loyalty to Megatron knows no bounds, a loyalty he is certain is reciprocated by his brilliant and uncompromising mentor.

While small and weak, Scorponok has a great aptitude for numbers and computer programming. He runs all of the Darksyder's finances and has become adept at various forms of credit laundering, fraud, digital forgery, and other financial crimes. Though not much of a combatant, he wields the powerful Blacking Cannon, a trophy from one of his first jobs. It can short out the optics of anyone in its line of sight, or fire a more conventional focused plasma beam. As a six-wheeled coupe, he has above average maneuverability and can reach speeds of 220 miles per hour for short bursts, but has middling-to-poor range without frequent recharge.
