His shield forms the chest armor of the gestalt, and the combiner head is built into the figure. The toy takes its name from Siegfried, or Sigurd, who was a Norse / Germanic hero, and a central character in many stories including the Volsunga saga, the Nibelungenlied, and Wagner's operas Siegfried and Götterdämmerung. | |
